HRCA Seahawks

• Ages: 6-18 Seahawks Swim Team, CARA Swim league
• Events: Each swimmer may choose up to three (3) individual events. Coaches make relays based on attendance. Ribbons are provided for top 8 places.
• Home meet location / time: Northridge Recreation Center, 8800 S Broadway St., Highlands Ranch 80126 / estimated 7:00am - 1:30pm
• Registration: Active HRCA Seahawk swimmer is recommended to participate.
• Refund Policy: No refunds given after five (5) days prior to meet.
• Equipment Required: Swimsuit and goggles for all levels. A latex team swim cap is provided.
• A PAID meet registration fee is required for all swim meets. Register for CARA Seahawks swim meets at www.hrcaonline.org/Swim. 
• Spectator Seating: waiting and event seeding is in the basketball court. Camping chairs and blankets are recommended. When your swimmer is racing, there is bleacher seating available on the pool deck. Please wait for races in the gym.
  Concessions: No glass containers are allowed in the facility. NO alcohol is allowed in the facility. Outside food and drink may be brought in. No concessions are available. (limited vending machine snacks and drinks are available.)

Event Order

Please check the Bullpen board often so you do not miss an event! At HRCA we usually line up 5-7 events ahead of the race on deck.  (Example: Event 36 is swimming, but event 40 will be in the bullpen.)

1-10 Butterfly
11-25 Freestyle Relay
26-35 Individual Medley (IM)
36-45 Short Free
46-55 Backstroke
56-70 Medley Relay
71-80 Breaststroke
81-90 Long Free

Each event may last about 20 min depending on how many swimmers are participating. So, a meet that starts at 8:00am should be over by 12:00pm. It is a guessing game, but that is an estimate.
